Week 17 had tons of memorable moments and I’m here to share what I’m hoping to rip if I am lucky enough to secure a pack. I’ve included my ten favorites from a variety of sets and tiers, at the end I rank my #OTMtop3. DK Metcalf

NFL All Day Play Description: “One. Two. Three. DK Metcalf was Seattle’s go-to target in the red zone against Detroit, with the wideout putting three scores on the board. First, a nice over-the-shoulder grab. Then, he won a jump ball on the far sideline. Lastly, he snuck two feet inside the end line for six more. Metcalf caught six passes for 63 yards on the day in the Seahawks’ 51-29 win over the Lions on Jan. 2, 2022.”

Set: Iconic Tier: Legendary # in Packs: 48

Why I love it: Despite having an underwhelming 2021 season, Metcalf puts up a three touchdown performance with this Iconic moment shown as a melt of each TD. An added bonus is this may be Metcalf’s only Iconic moment with Russell Wilson as there are plenty of question marks for next season in Seattle.

Najee Harris

NFL All Day Play Description: “Najee Harris was the engine for Pittsburgh’s offense against Cleveland, carrying the ball 28 times for 188 yards and catching three passes for 18 yards. Whether it was an imposing stiff arm earlier in the game or this game-sealing run to the end zone late in the fourth, Harris delivered for the Steelers. Thanks in large part to his efforts, Pittsburgh would get the win, 26-14, on Jan. 3, 2022.”

Set: Rookie Revelation Tier: Legendary SE # in Packs: 39

Why I love it: Division rivalry, Ben’s last home game and Harris breaks a long one to stick a fork in the Browns. Harris’ rookie season has been a needed bright spot for the black and yellow. Anytime we can get a Legendary Rookie moment, we’re happy. This moment may have added fantasy championship implications as it was the last score of the Week 17 MNF game.

Amon-Ra St. Brown

NFL All Day Play Description: “Amon-Ra St. Brown lined up as a running back next to the quarterback in the shotgun on this play, then took the delayed handoff up the middle. He bounced off one defender, then spun up the field and, with nothing but green grass in front of him, took it in for the score. He carried the ball twice for 23 yards and a touchdown and caught eight passes for 111 yards and another touchdown on the day in Detroit’s 51-29 loss to Seattle on Jan. 2, 2022.”

Set: Rookie Revelation Tier: Legendary SE # in Packs: 39

Why I love it: The Lions didn’t win many games this year but they are 10-6 against the spread as they played tough no matter the score. This moment had added significance for me as I picked up St. Brown just before the fantasy playoffs in my league with college buddies. Brown saw 11 or more targets in the last 5 games with 4 scores including this 26 yard rush putting an exclamation point on an impressive rookie season.

Andre Roberts

NFL All Day Play Description: “Andre Roberts decided to take this kick out of the end zone from one yard deep. It was a good call. Bringing it to the near sideline and finding a seam before cutting it back across the field, Roberts was virtually untouched on his way to six points. The score added to Los Angeles’ fourth-quarter lead and the Chargers would go on to win, 34-13, over Denver on Jan. 2, 2022.”

Set: Afterburners Tier: Rare SE # in Packs: 312

Why I love it: Getting moments from All-Pro players are fun but Roberts is a return specialist journey man whose 4th quarter kick return put the nail in the coffin for the rival Broncos also ending their playoff hopes.

Mike Williams

NFL All Day Play Description: “Mike Williams got behind the defense on this go route, then made a diving grab to reel in the pass from Justin Herbert for a 45-yard touchdown. The score broke the Chargers’ single-season passing touchdown record, which now belongs to Herbert, while it was the biggest catch of Williams’ three-reception, 63-yard performance against Denver. Los Angeles would go on to win, 34-13, on Jan. 2, 2022.”

Set: Locked In Tier: Rare # in Packs: 468

Why I love it: This impressive touchdown grab gives Justin Herbert the single season passing touchdown record and highlights the chemistry Williams and Herbert have shared all season long.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Tom Brady)

NFL All Day Play Description: “Tom Brady. Tampa Bay. Just over two minutes to play. End zone 93 yards away. Not a problem. Starting with a series of short passes to keep the ball moving, Brady and the Bucs never looked rushed as they chipped away at the yardage in front of them. With about a minute to go, Brady found Tyler Johnson for 27 yards to move Tampa into New York territory. A 10-yard completion to Cyril Grayson set the table for a 33-yard completion to Grayson down the far sideline for what would be the game-winning score. In all, it took nine plays over the course of 1:57 to help the Buccaneers notch a 28-24 victory over the Jets on Jan. 2, 2022.

Set: What A Drive Tier: Legendary SE # in Packs: 23

Why I love it: The Melt addition to NFL All Day was made for situations like this: TB12 starting near his own endzone with a little over two minutes to go, needing a touchdown. Brady leads a masterful drive to avoid the upset.

Arizona Cardinals

NFL All Day Play Description: “Who could have predicted that one of the most spectacular catches of the season would come on a fake punt? On the play, the ball was snapped directly to Chris Banjo, who drifted to the right and heaved it up to Jonathan Ward down the field. With the defense draped all over him, Ward controlled the ball by pinning it against the defender’s helmet and somehow maintained control, even as he tumbled to the ground. The 23-yard gain came on Banjo’s lone pass and Ward’s lone reception on the day. The fourth-down play earned Arizona a first down and they would later score a touchdown to cap a 15-play, 91-yard drive that lasted 8:25. The Cardinals would go on to beat Dallas, 25-22, on Jan. 2, 2022.”

Set: Hoodwinked Tier: Legendary SE # in Packs: 31

Why I love it: 4th and 2 from their own 36, the Cards decide to call a fake punt and instead of just looking for two yards, Safety Chris Banjo throws the ball down the field to backup running back Jonathan Ward who makes an incredible catch. This was a huge call in a game with playoff implications, it makes me really excited to get moments like these in playoff games!

Ja’Marr Chase

NFL All Day Play Description: Ja’Marr Chase was simply dominant against Kansas City. His 11 catches went for 266 yards and three touchdowns, helping him break the league’s single-season rookie record for receiving yardage in a season, previously held by former college teammate Justin Jefferson. His touchdown receptions against Kansas City went 72 yards, 18 yards, and 69 yards, which powered the Bengals to a 34-31 victory over Kansas City and the official title of AFC North champions on Jan. 2, 2022.

Set: Rookie Revelation Tier: Legendary SE # in Packs: 39

Why I love it: Week 17 will go down as Ja’Marr Chase’s Week as the rookie put up 11 catches for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns in the upset over the Chiefs. All three of his touchdown grabs are included in this melt, it is hard to argue against this being the moment of the drop.

Trey Lance

NFL All Day Play Description: “Trey Lance rolled to his right off the play action before looking back left and eyeing Deebo Samuel deep down the field. Samuel pulled it in around the 10-yard line before slipping past a defender and taking it in for the 45-yard score. Lance finished 16-of-23 on the day for 249 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the 49ers’ 23-7 win over Houston on Jan. 2, 2022.”

Set: Rookie Revelation Tier: Legendary SE # in Packs: 39

Why I love it: While his rookie year has underwhelmed there is still no rookie with more overall upside than Trey Lance. Anytime you can get a Legendary moment with a player with this kind of upside, you’ve got to be happy.

Ben Roethlisberger

NFL All Day Play Description: “In what was likely his final touchdown in the last home game of his career in Pittsburgh, Ben Roethlisberger moved the linebacker with a fake to the running back before slinging this pass to Diontae Johnson on the slant for the score. Roethlisberger was 24-of-46 for 123 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Steelers’ 26-14 win over Cleveland on Jan. 3, 2022.”

Set: Iconic Tier: Legendary # in Packs: 48

Why I love it: Love him or hate him, 18 years in the NFL is damn impressive. I don’t think any moment has the floor of Ben’s last touchdown at Heinz. Similar to Vince Carter’s moment in Top Shot, this moment is more about what it represents than the actual moment. Surefire Hall of Famer for a top class organization.
