This morning we posted Twitter polls asking collectors three questions. Over the weekend, we had calculated both the Expected Value (EV) for an NFL ALL DAY Historical pack and the % of total packs with positive return on investment (ROI). We were curious about a couple of things:

1) would the community be able to accurately guess the range that EV and +ROI fell in?

2) what does the emerging ALL DAY community expect from a pack to consider it good value?

Below is a quick summary of the results:

Our first question was around EV:

Our third question was specific to individual pack pulls:

The actual EV of a pack: $99

The actual % of packs with +ROI: ~40%

We were interested to find that a whopping 80% of our Twitter audience underestimated the EV of a pack and 87% underestimated the % of packs with a +ROI. Going back to our original thesis, we were also curious about what this all meant for community sentiment:

Sentiment is a hard thing to accurately quantify. Some AD users were very satisfied with the low mint counts (even for commons), less duplicates and an iconic centerpiece (Favre). Some users find their perceptions of ALL DAY clouded by their experiences with other products. Others have suggestions around distribution and content choices for the packs (ie when/who/how many). All valuable feedback as ALL DAY begins to roadmap Series 2.
