All Day has their first Rewind drop today, covering new moments from Weeks 1-12 of the 2021 season. I combed the moments to hone in on a Top 10 List of the absolute best of the best. While I spend a good amount of time on the Legendary and Rare moments, I also included some Common moments that you are more likely to pull.

My list prioritizes: 1) the potential fantasy utility for this upcoming season 2) player’s career long upside 3) badges or other elements that make a moment truly special. With so many assumptions and uncertainties at play it is important to remain true to your collecting strategy, when in doubt, collect what you love. Without further ado:

The Chart Topper

Justin Jefferson (Legendary)– While I would be happy to have any of the three veteran legendary moments (Eckler & Mixon are the others), this Justin Jefferson melt is the best pull for me. Looking back, this dominate Week 11 performance may very well be when Jefferson planted his flag as the best wideout in the NFC North if not the entire NFC. Jefferson bested Davante Adams’ 115 yards and two touchdowns with 169 yards and two touchdowns of his own. Jefferson is as good a bet as any other in this drop to be a star in the league in 5-10 years, so this melt should provide plenty of utility dividends and be the highlight of your collection for years to come.

The Rookies

Micah Parsons (Legendary SE)– The unanimous Defensive Rookie of the Year had plenty of highlights in Year One but from a collectables standpoint it is hard to top a Legendary SE takedown of superstar Patrick Mahomes. With Amari Cooper in Cleveland and Ezekiel Elliott’s days seemingly numbered, there is a lack of star power in Dallas. Enter Parsons who could turn Big D into a literal calling card for the Cowboys and their large fanbase.

Mac Jones (Legendary SE)– It took a heroic late season push for Ja’Marr Chase to pass Jones as the Offensive Rookie of the Year. Jones was the clear best quarterback in what was thought to be a deep quarterback class. What if Jones keeps these overachieving efforts throughout his career? You have a Rookie Mint Legendary SE moment for the starting quarterback of one of the most prestigious franchises for the next decade-plus.

Patrick Surtain II (Common SE)– You are much more likely to get this All Day common debut than the moments mentioned above. In a vacuum, yes, I’d obviously rather have the legendary moments but I really like this moment as it is Surtain’s first interception of his career and it comes against Trevor Lawrence. While that case alone has plenty of upside, utility is a real possibility as the AFC West has become the best division in professional football. If quarterbacks and wide receivers are the stars of the modern NFL, and the division has plenty of both, defensive backs will also have to become stars… or at the very least villains. Surtain will have plenty of opportunities to showcase his talent as the Broncos have seven standalone games this year.

The Future Hall of Famers

J.J. Watt (Rare SE)– Watt is a Hall of Famer if he retired three years ago and while this Rare SE All Day debut may not have as much utility as others on this list it has quite a good floor/ceiling combo. The floor is Watt’s career, the added ceiling is what will All Day offer for holding a player’s debut moment when they are inducted into Canton? A special bonus upside for this moment is Trey Lance being on the other end of the pass Watt is knocking down. Lance is 11 years younger than Watt and if all goes well Lance could be in the NFL long after Watt is enshrined in Canton.

Fletcher Cox (Rare)– While the quarterbacks and receivers get all the love in the modern NFL, the true NFL fan knows games are still won and lost in the trenches. Fletcher Cox has won a lot of games for the Eagles over the years although many casual fans may not know his name. While I would be ecstatic to pull this Rare Debut Cox moment, this moment is one I may look to snipe in the marketplace where a more casual fan may overlook Cox’s impact on the game and sell it for a cheap price.

2022 Potential Utility

Derrick Henry (Common)– Simply put, the NFL is a better product with Derrick Henry in it. Sadly, we were without Henry for the second part of last season and that is why we are getting his common All Day debut moment in this Rewind pack. Don’t forget how dominant Derrick Henry can be – the thing that separates Henry from other players is how he makes NFL players look like boys when they try to tackle him as Colts linebacker Darius Leonard finds out in this moment from Week 3.

Dalvin Cook (Rare)– This Week 12 trick play highlight reinforces how critical Cook is to the Vikings offense. When healthy there may not be a better running back in the league. The Vikings currently sit at around 50/50 to make the playoffs in what looks to be a two horse race in the NFC North. This rare moment could have serious utility come playoff time if Cook and the Vikings have the season they are hoping to have.

Jalen Hurts (Rare)– Few veterans benefited more from the draft than Hurts, who is being frequently mentioned as a long-shot MVP candidate this season. The Eagles added stud wide receiver A.J. Brown to pair with rising sophomore Heisman winner Devonta Smith in a huge upgrade for their passing game, giving Hurts the weapons he was lacking last season. Add in Hurts’ running ability which is on full display in this rare moment and it is not hard to see how this moment could have serious utility come the fall.

Carson Wentz (Common SE)– I know what you’re thinking, a common moment from Carson Wentz? But here me out, Wentz’ stock is at an all time low so this may be a moment you look to snipe on the market rather than pull from a Rewind pack. He will get every opportunity to start for the Commanders and they are favored in both of their first two games. If he stays healthy and they get off to a hot start you have an All Day debut with utility as Wentz is know to make circus-like plays on the reg, as shown in this moment.
